This story, written and illustrated by a world renowned explorer and artist, Albert Seidl is about the adventures of Fabian the Incredible Amphibian. Fabian is a Southern Gentleman with a lot of love. He plays a cello and the saxophone, practices yoga, and is a free spirit. Fabian teaches others to be fair, see no evil, hear no evil or speak no evil. After eating a mosquito he soars to unknown heights and hears a singing parrot. The parrot went astray, and turned into a rock that squashed Fabian as flat as a flounder. Fabian called out for help and buccaneers came to his aid. The ships surgeon tried to fix his mangled leg but had to amputate it. But not to worry, he made a wooded leg, and Fabian became a Buccaeer! The introduction tells of Albert Seidl's many voyages and adventures along with pictures of pictures and paintings of his 1896 Tall Ship, the Barba Negra, as well as an example of his free flowing artist style. Alberts' goal is to become a master in his old age, and with courage, like Fabian, have no fear of failure, just a simple quest for fun and adventure through innocence…just like children. Read more
