Product Description When boxes are installed before drywall they sometimes are not mounted correctly which causes the box to be set too far back from the drywall not permitting the device to be installed properly. The box extender levels and supports a wiring device when the box is too far back from the wall. From the Manufacturer Arlington BE2-1 Double Gang Box Extender. Use Arlington's UL and CSA listed, non-conductive Box Extenders, BE2-1, to extend set back electrical boxes up to 1-1/2 inch. Level and support wiring devices to bring flush with wall surface, trimmable.
- Allows the contractor to comply with 2005 NEC Article 314 20
- Works in handy boxes and 4 inch square electrical boxes with plaster rings for single switches or receptacle
- Manufactured from 105 degree C continuous use 94Vo rated flame retardant plastic for safer installations
- Functions with all standard devices switches, and GFCIs
- Levels and supports the wiring device where the box is set back from the wall surface (adjusts up to a 1-1/2 inch box extension)

This warranty does not apply when the product is used for any installation which would violate the national electrical code or any code which takes precedence in a particular jurisdiction.
